Onslaught is a great horde mode and I've managed to complete it once but it is really difficult.Īll in all, this game is finally where it needs to be and it's still free to play, so if you were like me who had high expectations but the beta turned you off even till the day before it got out of beta, give it another try. I'm loving the customization and even bought the Blacklight Prime for 5 dollars so I can permanently unlock everything with the ingame currency you get from winning matches.
Framerate is improved, lag is improved unless you get a laggy host but it's easy to find another lobby, hit detection for me is better than CoD Ghosts (which isn't saying much, but it's still noteworthy), the matchmaking WORKS and it feels like no matter what playlist I'm hopping into I can get a full lobby in less than thirty seconds. Well fast forward to the end of June and the game finally is out of beta, and boy oh boy THIS is what I was hoping for since before the PS4 launch. Plus the framerate wasn't where it should be, you die so quickly that the terrible framerate made it difficult to react in that way that you can in CoD or Battlefield.
People on r/PS4 said it got better with patches while it was in beta and I tried it every single time hoping for better and every single time I was disappointed. I was really deflated from that experience and almost deleted the game then. You couldn't find games, and the ones you did find were so laggy that it was near impossible not to rage quit. A F2P CoD with wall hack for everyone? Sounded fun. It was the FPS I was looking forward to most right next to Killzone. I was super pumped for this game when the PS4 was coming out.
